Key Takeaways: Understand how a student would look for an appointment.
Penji Recommendation: We recommend practicing booking an appointment like a student would within your community, with someone else as the provider, before moving on. If you book an appointment with yourself, the platform will not work as well when you try to submit feedback.
Students can book sessions through the following flow: select a topic, view all available provider times for that topic, select a time, select a provider if multiple are available, select a location, input topic information, and confirm the session.
The student flow broken down is:
- Login to web.penjiapp.com or access the mobile app
- Select an appointment format (ex, 30-min 1:1 appointment)
- Select a course/topic
- Pick a time - times from all providers for the selected course are shown
- Use the location or provider filter to narrow down the calendar of availability
- Pick a provider- multiple providers will be shown if available for that time and course. The student taps a provider profile and can review their bio before selecting.
- This step is skipped if they filtered down to a specific provider in Step 4
- Pick a location - the locations displayed depend on what location availability the provider has set for that given availability
- This step is skipped if they filtered down to a specific provider in Step 4
- Agenda Screen- this can be customized within the admin panel.
- Confirm, view the session on the home screen, and attend the session.
- Provide feedback.
