Some settings will be controlled by Penji and some will be controlled through the Admin Panel. If you would like to change/update a Penji controlled setting, please email support@penjiapp.com to update the setting. Please include what school and community you would like this to apply to. Some settings will relate to all sessions, just appointments, and just sections. All Sessions and Appointment settings are described in the article, Admins: Appointments Settings.
All Sessions
All Session settings are described in the article Admins: Appointments Settings. Below is a list of "All Session" type settings:
-
Provider max booked hours limit (Admin Panel)
- Student session usage limit (Admin Panel)
-
Provider Session Feedback (Admin Panel)
-
Provider Request Session Length Feedback (Admin Panel)
- Student Session Feedback (Admin Panel)
- Require Student Feedback (Penji Controlled)
- Request student feedback for recent sessions (Admin Panel)
Sections
Enable Provider-Scheduled sections (Penji Controlled)
More information on Provider Scheduled Sections can be found in the linked article. Instead of an admin uploading section.csv files, providers will be able to schedule their own section times.
Sections button label (Admin Panel)
Change the text for your Sections button shown to students on the "Learn" screen.
Remove the sections button on the learn screen (Penji Controlled)
In some cases, there is no need for a sections button on the learn screen. For example, if students are preassigned to a study group, there would be no need for students to then search and join a section. You would still have access to the section features and data on the admin website.
Max section capacity (Admin Panel)
Set the max number of students a provider can have in a provider-managed section. This feature is specific to sections that are run and organized by providers. More information on Provider Scheduled Sections can be found in the linked article. Otherwise, for admin-managed sections, the capacity will be set within the CSV file upload.
Section length (Admin Panel)
Set the section length in a provider-managed section. This feature is specific to sections that are run and organized by providers. More information on Provider Scheduled Sections can be found in the linked article. Otherwise, for admin-managed sections, the length will be set within the CSV file upload.
Student section no-show rules (Admin Panel)
Set rules for students when missing sections. A suspended student will not be able to join sections and will be removed from sections they do not attend. In the example below, here is how to read the no-show policy: If a student has 2 absences (no-shows) within a 10 day period, suspend that student for 30 days. Once you set the no-show rules, you will have the option to send emails after each no-show before the rule is enforced. These emails will be set up within the admin panel and sent automatically.
Missed sessions that are part of the appointment flow are not included in this no-show policy. There is a separate no-show rule for appointment sessions.
Enable Section Provider feedback (Penji Controlled)
Providers will always be asked to submit attendance, but if this is turned on, providers will be asked to complete either group or individual feedback for those who attended as well. The default prompt for provider feedback is, "Add feedback or comments about the session for your coordinator".
If you enable provider feedback and have custom provider feedback questions, providers will also be asked to fill these out after each session of a section. You can set each custom feedback question as required or optional. These are the same custom questions asked after 1:1 and Group appointments, that you can add, edit or remove from the Admin Panel. How to edit these questions are shown in the help center article Admins: Appointments Settings, in the header, "Provider Session Feedback (Admin Panel)". Below is an example:
From the same community, below is an example of submitting provider feedback from a 1:1 session. Note, that the custom provider feedback questions are the same as in the above video for sections.
