Students: Events Group Chat

The Events Group Chat in Penji provides students with a way to stay connected with tutors and other participants. It allows for real-time discussions, important event updates, and collaborative learning.

Accessing the Group Chat as a Student

1. Navigate to the "Learn" tab.

2. Join an event by selecting it from the available list.

3. Once joined, click on "View Event Chat Room".

4. You will be able to see the full chat history related to the event.

5. Send a message or respond to an existing conversation.

Receiving Notifications

1. Students receive in-app notifications for new messages in event chats.

2. Notifications appear as a small bubble in the Penji app interface.

3. Clicking on the notification will take you directly to the chat room.

Common Questions & Troubleshooting

• Q: Can I see messages sent before I joined an event? A: Yes! The full chat history is available once you join the event.

• Q: How do I know if someone has sent a new message? A: You will receive an in-app notification and see a small alert bubble in the chat section.

• Q: Can I send attachments in the chat? A: Yes, the chat supports images and file attachments.
