Setting Provider Booking Hour Limits
Allow providers editing appointment availability
Set whether or not providers are allowed to edit their appointment availability on their own. Your choices are allowed or not allowed. Set to not allowed if you would like to 100% control your providers' schedules for them.
Allowing Providers to Specify Appointment Types
If enabled, this feature allows providers to specify what type of appointment they would like to be available for and when. For example, your provider can set it so that they are available for 1:1 single occurrence appointments on Monday, weekly recurring 1:1 appointments on Tuesday, and both appointment types the rest of the week. This setting can be enabled or disabled.
Note that if you disable this setting, neither admin nor providers will be able to specify appointment type preferences when adjusting provider hours. The provider will automatically be available for all appointment types during all hours.
Allowing Providers to Assign Specific Locations to Their Available Hours
If enabled, this feature allows providers to specify where (location) they would like to be available for and when. You can enable or disable this setting.
Note that if you disable this setting, neither admin nor providers will be able to specify location preferences when adjusting provider hours. The provider will automatically be available for all locations during all hours.
Allowing Providers to Assign Specific Courses to Their Available Hours
If enabled, this feature allows providers to specify the types of courses for their appointments. This will be helpful when providers want to focus on a specific course subject during their scheduled appointment times.
For example, a tutor specializing both in chemistry and economics might prefer to dedicate certain hours exclusively to chemistry-related appointments, ensuring they are fully prepared and focused to provide the best support to students seeking help in that subject.
Additionally, it helps providers avoid context switching between different subjects, enabling them to delve deeper into the subject matter and provide more comprehensive guidance during appointments.
Setting Provider Booking Hour Limits
This is the maximum amount of time a provider can be booked for a session or leading a section. Both appointments and sections are counted in this limit.
For example, if a Tutor has availability on Thursday and Friday from 12 pm to 5 pm, they would have 10 hours of availability. If you set the max booked hours to 2 hours (120 minutes) a week, once the two hours have been booked, the Tutor’s remaining times would be unavailable and not shown to students. Hours would count as "booked" when a student books an appointment or if the student is leading a section that week.
Note, the weekly limit is set in minutes.
