View-only access allows you to assign admin users who can view specific community data without the ability to modify settings or integrations. This is useful for team members who need to monitor activities without making changes, unlike full access admins who have complete control over all settings.
Key Differences: View-Only vs. Full Admin Access
Feature | View-Only Access | Full Admin Access |
---|---|---|
Access to Settings | Cannot modify any settings. | Can modify all settings for the school and communities. |
Community Data | Can view data for specific assigned communities. | Can view and manage data across all communities. |
Admin Management | Can add other admins—however, they can’t grant higher access than their own or remove admins with higher privileges. | Can add, remove, or edit other admins' access levels. |
IT Integrations | No access to manage or update IT integrations. | Full access to manage IT integrations and other technical features. |

Important Notes:
- View-only admins are perfect for team members who only need to monitor data without the responsibility of changing any settings.
- Full access admins can oversee the entire system and make changes as necessary.
- If a new community is added, make sure to update the view-only admin’s access to include the new community, if applicable.
By choosing the appropriate access level, you can maintain a well-organized and secure admin team while ensuring the right people have the necessary permissions.
