Below you will find a comparison of Queue and Log Mode for Drop-In locations, based on FAQ. More information on Drop-In locations can be found here: Admins: Drop-in Introduction.
Note, for each Queue location, providers will have to manage a separate waitlist. If a provider is available for both Online and Physical locations at the same time, we would recommend Queue Online and Log Physical.

Note 1: The Agenda screen asks, "What topics, assignments or problems do you want help with? (Specific info can help the provider get to you faster.)".
Note 2: The standard feedback question is, "Enter any feedback about the session (optional)".
Note 3: Students will only get mobile app alerts if they join the Queue with their Penji account. If instead students Check-In through the location kiosk, students will enter their email and be sent an email to check their place in the queue.
Note 4: If you would like to allow students to Check-In outside of scheduled hours, you can adjust this within your admin panel > settings > drop-in.
Note 5: For queue locations, regardless of Physical vs. Online, students have the ability to "request" a specific provider when checking in. If the student selects a specific provider, then this student only appears in the queue for that specific provider. If you would like to turn this feature on, you can adjust this within your admin panel > settings > drop-in.
Note 6: Students have the ability to Check-In to Penji through their account (Mobile App or Web). However, the only way to Check-Out is through the Kiosk link.
