Q: Do card readers require the guest check-in field to be Student ID?
A: No. You can configure the guest check-in field to collect email (or another field) instead of Student ID.

Q: Can we still use card readers if the check-in field is email?
A: Yes. Card readers can be enabled at the same time as email entry. Guests can swipe their card and type their email during check-in.

Q: What needs to be set up for this to work properly?
A: Your community must have the card format setup completed so the system can correctly interpret the card data.
